Shehla Masood murder case: Zahida, aide refuse to undergo lie detection test
Bhopal: The main accused in the Shehla Masood murder case Zahida Pervez and her assistant Saba Farooqi refused to undergo a polygraph test on Monday.
Earlier, they had given their consent to the lie detection test, following which, the court allowed the CBI to conduct the tests. They were supposed to undergo the test on Monday.
BJP MLA Dhruv Narayan Singh is also supposed to undergo the lie detection test on Monday.
CBI officials have said that Shehla Masood's murder appears to be a "crime of passion" and whether it was part of any larger conspiracy is still a matter of investigation.
"Investigations so far indicate the RTI activist's murder appears to be a crime of passion. Whether or not the murder was part of a larger conspiracy is a matter of further probe," the officials said in Bhopal. For more info log on to: http://youtube.com/starnews
